 Welcome to Christmas in Chelsea! The Royal Hospital Chelsea was founded in 1682 by King Charles II.
The Chelsea Pensioners are retired soldiers of the British Army. They have worn their iconic red coats since the hospital’s early days.
The event is set in the historic Ranelagh Gardens, once one of London's most famous pleasure gardens.
Harry the Bear, the Hospital’s official mascot, was named in honour of the Chelsea Pensioners' service to the nation.
